Chocolate cake with pears and cinnamon

This is a variation tasty chocolate cake with pears and cinnamon traditional in the light version, a real treat for the palate and, above all, low in calories. A slice of cake, in fact, only amounts to about 112 calories.
Although the recipe has no sugar, cinnamon and pears help give the cake a sweet taste to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 50 grams of sugar
  • 120 grams flour
  • 150 ml skimmed milk
  • 150 grams of pears into small pieces
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 20 grams of chopped chocolate
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder (8 grams)
  • a pinch of salt
  • grated orange peel (optional)



Preparation

Beat the yolks with the sugar (apart from the egg to be used later). Mix the sifted flour with cinnamon gradually, alternating with a little milk, and continues until all ingredients are gone. At this point whip, add the egg whites with a pinch of salt and mix from top to bottom with the egg mixture, sugar, flour and milk. Add the chocolate chips and baking powder sifted. Finally, add the pear cut into small pieces.

Grease and flour a mold of 20 cm diameter, pour the mixture and placed in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes. But remember, before baking the cake, test for doneness, so the toothpick test.

Here are a few little trick to be followed for the success of the pie. As soon as the oven, be sure to leave in the pan until cool to thicken. Thus, breaks or sticks to the tray.
Sprinkle with sugar and serve.
