Apple pie without butter

The major limitation is represented by the sweet ingredients, which in most cases are heavy and contain many more calories than are needed to ensure the sweetness of dessert.

So today we present this tasty and slightly sweet recipe, because it is not an ingredient with a high level of calories, the butter, as the apple pie without butter is so light, it only contains 130 calories.


Ingredients Apple pie without butter

  • 1 kg. apples
  • 150 g of wheat flour type 00
  • 50 g. Honey
  • 1 egg
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 sachet baking powder
  • salt
  • oil
  • breadcrumbs for greasing the pan


Preparation of Apple pie without butter

Wash apples, remove the core and slice them thinly. Wash and dry the lemon zest to keep to one side, cut in half and sprinkle with a little apple juice to avoid darkening while preparing the dough.

Turn the oven to 180 degrees, grease a baking dish 24 cm in diameter and sprinkle with bread crumbs, with an electric mixer beat the whole egg, shelled, honey, until creamy foam.

Also add the sifted flour and mix with two teaspoons of yeast and a pinch of salt. Stir with a whisk to avoid lumps and add the apples, while maintaining a few slices for garnish.

Pour the batter into the pan and garnish with canned apple slices, bake and cook for 45 minutes.
