Potatoes diet to keep balanced weight


Potatoes belong to the nightshade family as are tomatoes, eggplants and peppers and these plants share common characteristics such as its rich vitamin C (15 to 20mg per 100g).

The potato is rich in starch so it can replace other foods rich in carbohydrates such as rice or pasta with the advantage that it provides less calories than those.
