Steamed Chicken Breasts


This is a recipe that used the steaming method, which is very beneficial. When cooking the steamed chicken breast in addition to being free of fat also lacking in flavor, this recipe shows that the use of herbs can offset other fatty condiments.

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts, about 300 grams each

  • filtered lemon juice
  • half orange juice unfiltered
  • peel of 1 orange
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 20 grams of olive oil
  • salt

Preparation

Clean the chicken breasts of excess fat and remove the bones may have. Cut them in half and add salt. Place water in pot to steam, add the orange peel, place the chicken breasts on top of the basket, cover with lid and cook for 20 minutes.
While meat is cooking, prepare the sauce, for which herbs are mixed with chopped shallots, peeled and three. Spoon mixture into a bowl, pour the olive oil, orange juice, lemon juice, soy sauce, salt and emulsify the sauce with a fork.
