While most people know and know of vegetarian diets
are very few who can have also vegan diets, and even more differences
between them.
While a vegetarian diet eliminates any class or type of animal
flesh, animal products (like milk or eggs). A vegan diet (also called a
vegan) is more restrictive because it eliminates all animal products, also
including derivatives.
People choose to follow this diet for several reasons:
ethical, religious or health reasons. This is one of the most followed diets,
especially among young people.
In the vegetarian diet, consumption of eggs and dairy
products help prevent deficiencies due to lack in it, fish and meat. In this
type of feeding the saturated fats are present in amounts below the classical
eat salad. Those who follow this diet you can enjoy better health (this is not
much more than a low-calorie regime).
The vegan diet ("veg" is a Latin word that
means "belonging to the vegetable kingdom") instead exposes the body
to various deficiencies, including iron deficiency, zinc and vitamins A and D
(these deficiencies can occur even in mild vegetarian but to a lesser extent).
In conclusion, it is healthy to follow a vegetarian diet as
long as it is a perfectly balanced diet. Before the case, it is advisable to
consult a nutritionist who will be able to plan a proper diet.
