Diets for Children




The period of greatest physical, intellectual and psychic is in childhood. Food has an important role in this cycle of life. The inclusion of micro and macro nutrients in the diets of children can reinforce the development of the same.



It is necessary to make menus for children's diets, to strengthen your body as well as your mind.
Childhood extends from birth to puberty. Food is fundamental at this stage of life, because it can achieve better physical and mental development.
The best way to establish the different diets for healthy children, children would be divided into three stages:
Infants from 0 to 2 years.
Early childhood from 2 years to 6 years.
Second child of 6 years to 12 years.

The feed will cover the nutritional needs of each stage, we can establish which foods should be introduced at a menu for children's diets, food and basic essential for a child to grow healthy.

Menus for children's diets should include:

Dairy: 3 servings daily (2 cups whole milk daily) plus a portion of cheese.
Eggs: 3 whole eggs per week, egg every day.
Meat: 2 servings of meat (2 times a week fish, 2 times a week, chicken, 3 times a week veal).
Vegetables: 3 to 5 servings a day, raw or cooked.
Fruits: 3 servings daily, of which 1 would have to be a citrus.
Vegetables: 1 serving, you can replace meat or eggs.
Fats: corn oil, grape, sunflower, olive and condiment, avoid fried foods. Butter, margarine sporadically.
Sugars sweeten tea or milk.
Sweets: sporadically.
Drinks: water, if for some reason this is not accepted, opt for juices, smoothies and light refreshments.
These foods should be part of the diet of infants, each of them provides the nutrients (protein, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins and minerals) needed for healthy growth, physical as well as intellectual.
