Low-fat sorbets


The sorbet is one of the greatest delights to enjoy during the spring and summer or to share a beautiful moment with loved ones, especially if children are involved.

When is a diet, this dish is one of the first to be struck from the list, and rightly so, since most of the sorbets have a lot of sugar and fat, ingredients that give it that taste just as delicious.

There are options that are low in fat and rich and varied flavors that can serve as a replacement for those who are not. In this way, you can enjoy this refreshing snack from time to time without guilt and without having to completely deprive yourself of the experience.



We approached two very healthy recipes sorbet, which can be prepared without a special machine:
Sorbet of cucumber, celery and lemon:

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of water.
  • 1 tablespoon low-calorie sugar or honey.
  • 2 lemons (juice).
  • 2 ½ cucumber without skin or seeds.
  • 2 sticks of celery.
  • 4 tablespoons of honey.



Preparation:

Dissolve sugar or honey to the mixture of water and lemon in a saucepan over low heat. Cool.
Blend the mixture with cucumber and celery and strain.
Pour the mixture into a metal bowl and place it inside another container with ice and salt.
Whisk while rotating the inner container to achieve the desired mix.

Banana sorbet:

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups skim milk
  • 1 / 4 cup low-fat cream to beat
  • 3 / 4 cup low-calorie sugar or honey
  • 3 tablespoons powdered milk
  • 2 pieces of ripe banana

Preparation:

Blend all ingredients until well blended.
Pour the mixture into a metal bowl and place it inside another container with ice and salt.
Whisk while rotating the inner container to achieve the desired mix.
